Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia urged heads of state agencies to embrace more efficient use of public resources to maximize the value of what has been entrusted to them.

Highlighting the important roles the public sector, in particular, should play in bringing Ghana closer to the vision of Ghana Beyond Aid, Vice President Bawumia urged heads of institutions to “harness and use the country’s own resources to transform economically and efficiently for a rapid but sustainable growth trajectory ”.

The Vice President implored heads of state institutions to strengthen the technological capacities of their organizations in line with the government’s digitization agenda, strengthen their operations for the benefit of Ghanaians and effectively contribute to Ghana’s economic transformation.
