Santa Fe, NM – June 25, 2022 – The Santa Fe National Forest (SFNF) Burn Area Emergency Response Team has begun its Phase 3 assessment of National Forest System (NFS) lands affected by the Hermits Peak-Calf Canyon fires on the east side of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains

Initial preliminary analysis suggests that the headwaters of the Pecos River to the southern edge of Dalton Forest are susceptible to post-fire flooding, which could pose a risk to public safety. Additional high flows along the Pecos River may occur from the southern edge of the forest to the confluence of the Canon de los Trigos. Ash, floating debris and high levels of sediment transport can be expected. Much of the Upper Pecos Watershed (Rio Mora and Winsor Creek are subwatersheds of the Greater Pecos Watershed) has been exposed to fire, increasing the likelihood of increased flows following a fire.

Post-fire assessments in the Pecos Wilderness Area have been a challenge due to its remoteness, steep unstable slopes, and ongoing rain activity. However, initial estimates of fire impacts on soil properties and subsequent hydrological response were verified by examining satellite imagery unaffected by cloud cover, observed fire behavior in the burned area, and aerial reconnaissance. The NHSSP is a technical assistance program to the MOHP, funded by UKaid. The program is a technical component of the UK’s support to the MoHP under the Nepal Health Sector Program-3. It is designed to support the objectives of the Nepal Health Sector Strategy (2015/16-2020/21) and contribute to MoHP’s efforts to deliver quality health services leaving no one behind.

The program has been running since April 2017 and will continue until December 2022 to cover the overall priorities of strengthening the health system at the subnational level, whereby the provincial D4D coordinator will provide technical assistance to the GoN at the provincial level and oversee activities designated at the palika level. The program is implemented by a consortium led by Options Consultancy Limited, along with HERD International and Oxford Policy Management.

Position

The Provincial Data for Decision-Making (D4D) Coordinator will provide technical assistance (TA) in the D4D thematic area to sub-national governments. The objective of this position is to provide effective technical inputs to the provincial ministry responsible for the management of the health sector, such as the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD)/Provincial Ministry of Health and Population (PMoHP) and the Provincial Health Directorate (PHD) to enable them to achieve the objectives of PNHA 3.

Neal-Perry and colleagues assessed the efficacy of fezolintant versus placebo and found improvement in VMS frequency and severity through week 12. Both doses were associated with a statistically significant reduction in frequency and severity of hot flashes, which was maintained throughout the 52-week study period. The data supports the overall safety and tolerability previously observed for fezolinetant at doses of 30 and 45 mg.
Those who were re-randomised from placebo to fezolintant experienced a reduction in frequency and severity of VMS consistent with women initially randomized to fezolintant. Treatment also reduced sleep disturbance, as assessed by the Patient-Reported Outcome Measurement Information System (PROMIS SD SF 8b).
“These results, along with other studies of fezolintant, will be important in understanding the use of this selective oral non-hormonal NK3 receptor antagonist to treat moderate to severe VMS associated with menopause,” said Neal-Perry, who presented the research results of this study at ENDO 2022, the annual meeting of the Endocrine Society in mid-June. Srinagar, 12th June: The government of Jammu and Kashmir has embarked on an unprecedented development trajectory with the launch of several transformative initiatives in all sectors of the union territory.
The launch of an ambitious “Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani” (AZAN) program by Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, was one of those landmark achievements of the UT administration to expand the modern land records management system in more to improve the transparency of the system.
The AZAN initiative successfully fulfills its objective of ensuring a transparent, improved and modernized land records management system for the people of J&K who can now access their land records online without any difficulty.
“Previously, I had to walk from pillar to post to get even a single copy of my land records, which was quite a cumbersome and difficult task, but with the launch of AZAN, I can now verify n “any of my land records even sitting in my house. Previously, there was no such mechanism for citizens to view or monitor the status of our income records online,” he said while hailing this milestone as historic. I also express my gratitude to the government of J&K for initiating the process of issuing trilingual land booklets as a measure to fill the information gap and promote people’s ease of access to tax records in Jammu and Srinagar districts,” boasted Jehangir Ahmed of Bachpora.
AZAN: Land Records Information System was launched on October 22, 2021 by the LG under which public users can now search and view copies of digitized data online at the CIS portal – http://landrecords.jk.gov.in/ . According to LG, the initiative will facilitate easy online access to the land records system, thereby reducing the manipulation of land records and significantly improving the efficiency of tax offices.
This initiative is part of the Digital India Land Registry Modernization Program (DILRMP) which was officially launched in UT in April 2016.
The first such land booklet is issued to legal land owners in Jammu and Kashmir in Urdu, English and Hindi languages. “In order to support challenged logistics in the future…we need the best technology and the best business systems to be able to provide us with, you know, both financial management and logistics support on the ground,” he said. -he declares.

The portfolio that the Army plans to upgrade currently includes five ERPs and approximately 150 other non-ERP legacy systems.

The military will use other transaction agreements (OTAs) for the acquisition. OTAs aim to reduce red tape and facilitate faster prototyping of new technologies and follow-up production contracts.

The Army plans to award multiple OTAs for prototyping efforts in early FY2023.

“These would last 12 to 18 months. And then at the end of that effort…we’ll come to a production contract by selecting, you know, one of those prototypes to be our production solution,” Iyer said.

Some of the things the military will look at include the modularity and “future proofing” of a proposed architecture, as well as its ability to support data exchange through application programming interfaces and microservices.

“It will again help us ensure interoperability with other systems. And being able to use this data seamlessly in other systems and analytics is a huge driver. we’ll make sure we can fully benefit from a true modern architecture And then…we’ll look at the flexibility of the solution in terms of being able to implement unique Army processes wherever we have them without needing to customize off-the-shelf commercial products,” he said.

The military is looking for agility and will push the industry to use DevSecOps for new increments of capability.

“We’re looking for features that are available or made available to users…on, you know, quick sprints” every two to six months, Iyer said. “It’s about getting functionality into the hands of the user quickly through agile development.”

However, the overall modernization effort will be “massive” and could take up to 10 years to implement, he said.

“We’re not going with the big bang approach,” Iyer said. “We will let the functional priorities define … what those increases will be, and then we will look at the risk profile to see how quickly we can activate them. And that will determine the level of funding and the timeline for implementation.
